Did the Dragons' lower grade teams struggle against the Sea Eagles?

The Dragons Knock On Effect Cup and Jersey Flegg squads faced tough losses against the Sea Eagles in Round 22 of the NSWRL competitions on Saturday.

The Sea Eagles started strong, scoring tries by Raymond Tuaimalo Vaega and Ryan Garner within the first 15 minutes, giving them a comfortable lead.

However, the Dragons fought back with tries from Sione Finau, Ryan Couchman, and Treight Stewart in just 14 minutes, taking the lead for the first time in the match.

Just before halftime, Sea Eagles' winger Clayton Faulalo scored a try, regaining a two-point lead.

In the second half, Garner scored his second try, extending the Sea Eagles' lead beyond a converted try.

Stewart responded with his second try for the Dragons, bringing the score to 22-20 with 12 minutes remaining.

However, the Sea Eagles sealed their victory with a late flurry, finishing with a 36-20 win.
