The Sydney Roosters and the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs battled it out at Belmore Sports Ground on Friday evening, resulting in a 22-22 draw.

Despite trailing by four points at halftime, the Roosters made a comeback with three consecutive tries.

However, a defensive lapse allowed the Bulldogs to level the scores in the 68th minute.

The crowd was thrilled when Tavita Henare-Schuster delivered a heavy hit on the Bulldogs' winger after he collected a kick.

This defensive pressure led to a wayward offload by the Bulldogs, which was seized by Jack Smith, setting the stage for the Roosters' attack.

In the 18th minute, Corey Ross scored a try off a perfectly executed kick by lock Caleb Tohi, with Vaiala Tamati successfully converting to equalize the scores.

The Bulldogs responded by kicking the ball low and short off the restart, allowing Harry Haynes to sprint 30 meters before being tackled just short of the try-line.

Taking advantage of an overlap, Canterbury-Bankstown sent winger Jordi Mazzone over in the corner, although the missed conversion kept the score at 10-6.

In the second half, Alekolasimi Jones broke through the defense to score for the Bulldogs, with Joash Papalii converting to extend their lead to 10 points.
