Madimack 'Power Players' - Round 22

LeagueNews.co | Jason Patrick

Despite the result at the foot of the Mountains on Saturday night, there were some big efforts from a committed Cronulla against the reigning Premiers.

We take a look at the Madimack 'Power Players' from the clash.

What a herculean effort from Sharks enforcer Cam McInnes on Saturday night.

Bloodied and bruised, McInnes made his way from the field after an 80-minute stint, with an all-time record of 81 tackles in an NRL match.

McInnes bested the previous record of 74, held by Raiders lock Shaun Fensom during his side's 2011 clash with the Bulldogs.

Even making a tackle a minute, McInnes found time to run for 96 metres, 26 of those post-contact with a tackle break thrown in as well.
