Gold Coast Titans head coach Des Hasler is reportedly set to retire at the end of the season, prompting the Queensland-based team to look for a replacement.
According to zerotackle.com, Hasler, who has had a 20-year coaching career following his retirement as a player, has led the Manly Sea Eagles, Canterbury Bulldogs, and most recently, the Gold Coast Titans for the past two seasons.
Throughout his coaching career, Hasler has celebrated significant successes, including two premierships with the Sea Eagles in 2008 and 2011.
However, he has struggled to replicate that success with the Titans, who are currently at the bottom of the NRL ladder, having secured only four wins this season.
This dismal performance has led to calls for Hasler to resign from his head coaching position.
Now, reports suggest that he intends to retire at the conclusion of the 2025 NRL season.
