The West Tigers website has got the scoop on the Blues squad for Origin One, and it looks like Sea Eagles forward Jake Trbojevic will be leading the charge as captain at Accor Stadium on June 5.

NSW coach Michael Maguire has spruced up the team with six green newbies, including Panthers fullback Dylan Edwards.

Edwards will be making his big Origin debut in place of the veteran James Tedesco, who, along with ten other players, missed the cut this time around.

The Blues are really shaking things up with these fresh faces.

Among the newbies are some real up and comers in the game.

With Cleary and Murray out of action, Maguire turned to Trbojevic as the man to rally the troops.

It'll be a battle of the captains as he goes head to head with his Manly teammate Daly Cherry-Evans, who's leading the Maroons.

Trbojevic might not be the usual suspect for captain, but with Yeo taking a backseat and McInnes stepping up, it all makes sense.

The Blues are a mixed bag of captains, with only Crichton from Canterbury and McInnes, who are new to the scene, representing their clubs.

It's all shaping up to be an epic showdown down under, with the Blues fighting to reclaim their glory in the Origin arena.

The excitement is building, and fans are revving up for what promises to be a cracking game of footy.
