In his debut match, Riley Lumb shone brightly as Leeds battled it out with Hull for a hard-fought win at the MKM Stadium.
Lumb, stepping in for the injured David Fusitu'a, made his mark with two impressive first-half tries, propelling the Rhinos to an 18-12 victory.
After Hull took the lead with a try from Morgan Smith, Lumb showcased his talent with a spectacular solo effort to draw Leeds level.
The young 19-year-old then struck again, putting his team ahead 12-6 going into halftime.
With Cam Smith adding another try and Rhyse Martin successfully converting, Leeds found themselves 12 points in the lead.
Although Hull's Lewis Martin managed to score late in the game, the Rhinos held on for a tense finish.
After disappointing home losses, Leeds found solace on the road, easing the pressure on coach Rohan Smith.
Meanwhile, Hull suffered their seventh consecutive defeat, sitting just above the London Broncos in the Betfred Super League standings.
However, after conceding over 50 points in four of their last five matches, Hull displayed a much-improved performance in this clash.
