The Cronulla Sharks, known for their affinity for flashy outside backs from New Zealand, have a storied history of Kiwi talent gracing their ranks.

From Richard Barnett to Ronaldo Mulitalo, these players have brought their own brand of flair and skill to the team.

Back in May 2013, another Kiwi standout made his debut for the Sharks against the Newcastle Knights.

Sosaia Feki, hailing from Auckland but proudly representing his Tongan heritage, showed his prowess on the field in his very first game as Shark number 477.

Coming up through the ranks at the Warriors, Feki made a name for himself as a strong and reliable outside back, with a keen eye for the tryline.

Despite a brief stint without a club in 2012, Cronulla took a chance on the talented youngster as part of a recruitment drive that also brought in big names like Todd Carney, Andrew Fifita, and Bryce Gibbs.

While it took some time for Feki to break into the starting lineup, his performances in the lower grades left no doubt that he had what it takes to shine in the top squad.

With a roster boasting seasoned veterans like Wade Graham and Jeremy Smith, Feki added a fresh dynamic to the team and quickly became a fan favorite with his speed and skill on the field.

As they say in the world of Rugby League, Feki's debut was just the beginning of a promising career with the Sharks.

And for the fans who have long cherished the tradition of Kiwi talent at Cronulla, he was a welcome addition to the team's illustrious history.
