The Eels will host the Titans this week, as both teams seek to improve their standings in the NRL, with the Titans aiming for consecutive wins to escape the bottom of the ladder.

According to nrl.com.au, a win for the Titans would elevate them past the Eels, who currently sit at 16th place.

Despite missing key Origin players Moeaki Fotuaika and captain Tino Fa'asuamaleaui, the Titans delivered a solid performance last week, defeating Manly 28-8 in front of a lively home crowd.

Kieran Foran and AJ Brimson were standout performers in that match, contributing significantly to the Titans' success.

On the Eels' side, they have shown improvement in recent weeks, although the results haven't always reflected their efforts.

However, they will face a setback this week, as halfback Mitchell Moses will be sidelined due to a calf injury, which also removes him from the remainder of the Origin series.

In his absence, the Eels will rely on their young players to step up and fill the void left by their skipper.
