Jack de Belin, the 34-year-old forward for the St George Illawarra Dragons, has expressed his desire to continue his career with the club beyond 2025, aiming to play through 2026.
De Belin has had a notable career, accumulating 240 NRL games since his debut in 2011, despite facing a mid-career layoff.
Despite speculation linking him with rival clubs during his recent contract negotiations, he has consistently remained with the Dragons, signing a one-year deal last time that keeps him with the team through 2025.
Now, he has indicated that discussions regarding a contract extension for 2026 are underway between his management and the club.
"I'm in a good mind frame, I'm really excited to play on," De Belin stated at a recent media conference, reinforcing his commitment to the team and his enthusiasm for the future.
