'I couldn't believe it': DCE blows up over sin bin drama as Manly coach makes harsh admission
In a jaw-dropping display of frustration, Daly Cherry-Evans was caught calling a sin bin against his team "outrageous" before his coach delivered a brutal reality check.
According to reports from news.com.au, Manly mentor Anthony Seibold and skipper Daly Cherry-Evans refused to make excuses for their disappointing 34-26 defeat to the Tigers.
Despite this, Cherry-Evans couldn't contain his emotions on the field, expressing his disbelief at the controversial sin bin decision.
A total of three Manly players found themselves in the sin bin during the game, leaving the Sea Eagles with only 13 men for a grueling 50 minutes.
The first player to be sidelined was forward Ethan Bullemor, who was given a ten-minute break late in the first half due to a string of penalties against the Sea Eagles.
The contentious call sparked a fiery exchange between referee Peter Gough and Cherry-Evans, with the Sea Eagles skipper expressing his frustration at the decision.
"I had the chat with you in the in goal after the try.
I just gave you the no more," Gough explained.
"I couldn't believe it," Cherry-Evans shot back.
