In a dramatic turn of events, the drama surrounding Wests Tigers star David Nofoaluma appears to be deepening.

After a training no-show, his situation was compounded by the dismissal of chairman Lee Hagipantelis and the entire Wests Tigers board following an internal review.

It is believed that Hagipantelis was a big supporter of Nofoaluma, making his departure a significant blow to the player's future at the club.

As a result, it is expected that the veteran NRL player will also be shown the door.

According to reports from The Daily Telegraph, Nofoaluma lodged an official complaint with the RLPA, alleging unfair treatment in regards to his fitness upon returning to pre-season training.

This complaint adds another layer to the ongoing saga.

The 30-year-old is the Tigers' all-time leading try-scorer but his recent actions have infuriated club officials.

His below-par performance in a time trial and subsequent walkout from training have left the coaching staff highly unimpressed.

Some of his teammates also believe that he should be at a higher standard during this point of the pre-season.

While Nofoaluma returned to training on Monday, he was unable to partake in the field session due to a calf injury.

Despite his desire to remain at Leichardt, rumors suggest that the Tigers are actively working to offload him.

Overall, the drama surrounding David Nofoaluma continues to escalate, leaving his future at Wests Tigers uncertain.
