Daley Renounces Manly Sea Eagles Coaching Role

Laurie Daley, currently the head coach of the New South Wales Blues, has reportedly reversed his decision regarding a role with the Manly Sea Eagles.

Daley, who is under contract with the New South Wales Rugby League (NSWRL) until 2026, had initially been reported to have accepted a coaching position with the Sea Eagles after previously declining offers from them and the Wests Tigers.

However, recent updates from Danny Weidler indicate that Daley has opted against joining the Sea Eagles' coaching staff as a mentor to head coach Anthony Seibold.

His decision seems to stem from a desire to concentrate on his responsibilities as head coach of the New South Wales Blues and his commitments to the radio program Big Sports Breakfast.

While it was thought that the role he declined would be more of an advisory capacity, with no daily involvement at the club, Daley has chosen to prioritize his current obligations.
