Mark Nawaqanitawase has emerged as a standout talent in rugby league, marking one of the most impressive transitions in NRL history. Since joining the Sydney Roosters, he has quickly gained star status despite his beginnings in rugby union.

With only a year left on his contract with the Roosters, there is increasing pressure on Nawaqanitawase to make a decision about his future. According to The Daily Telegraph, he is set to meet with his management soon to weigh his options: whether to return to rugby union and potentially compete in a World Cup or to stay in the NRL in hopes of earning a spot on the NSW Blues.

Reports suggest that Nawaqanitawase is not interested in playing for another NRL team, effectively eliminating the possibility of a team switch following the November 1 deadline. This situation leaves only the Roosters and rugby union vying for his commitment.

While rugby union has been quietly observing from the sidelines, hoping to entice him back, Sport Confidential notes that there have been no formal approaches made to the 25-year-old as of yet.
