Crichton Accuses England of Violent Tactics in Fiery Clash

Despite a convincing win against England, the Kangaroos emerged from the match with some physical tolls. Angus Crichton accused the English team of employing aggressive tactics during Australia's intense 26-6 victory in the Ashes opener at Wembley.

The back-rower noted that England approached the match with the intention of inflicting damage. He remarked that they were "trying to kill and bash us" in a game that has set a physical precedent for the upcoming matches. This aggressive playstyle is expected to carry into the second Test in Liverpool next weekend.

"They came with their trademark physicality and were trying to take the heads off early," Crichton told the Daily Telegraph.

He described the English players as being "backs against the wall" and "just trying to bash you." He highlighted the toughness of the opposing team, asserting, "There are a lot of tough men in their team and they obviously were trying to kill us tonight, and I'm sure there'll be more of that in the next two games."

Crichton, who scored two tries in the second half, including a powerful 25-meter run, acknowledged that he left the field with several "battle scars."
