The Cowboys have made a bold move, extending the contract of promising player Neame.

Hailing from the small town of Greymouth in New Zealand, Neame made the big decision to pack up and move to North Queensland back in 2019, showing the grit and determination that Rugby League players are known for.

Since making his NRL debut in 2021, Neame has quickly established himself as a key player in Todd Payten's squad, earning a spot in the starting 17 and playing in 23 games in the 2022 season alone.

With a total of 66 games under his belt for the Cowboys, Neame has proven himself on the field with his hard-hitting tackles and impressive ball-handling skills.

Not content with just dominating the domestic league, Neame also made his mark at the International level, representing the Kiwis in the 2023 Pacific Cup.

His standout performance in the final against the Kangaroos, where he scored a crucial try in New Zealand's impressive 30-0 victory, solidified his reputation as a rising star in the sport.

With this contract extension, Neame is set to continue his journey with the Cowboys, building on his success and contributing to the team's goals of achieving greatness in the rugged world of Rugby League.南
