The Cowboys have scored a new recruit in the form of outside back Braidon Burns, with the ink barely dry on a contract that will keep him in North Queensland until the end of the 2025 season.
This 27-year-old player has already notched up 62 NRL games during his time with the Rabbitohs and Bulldogs, where he's shown his prowess by scoring 16 tries since his debut back in 2017.
In his most recent outings with South Sydney's NSW Cup team in 2024, Burns has been tearing up the field, averaging an impressive 139 running metres and three tackle breaks per game.
It's clear he's a player who can make an impact and add some spark to the Cowboys lineup.
With Burns now on board, the Cowboys are hoping he can bring his experience and attacking flair to the team, helping them push for glory on the field.
Time will tell if this signing proves to be a game-changer for the North Queensland side.
