The Parramatta Junior League held an Extraordinary General Meeting last night, where the President Mark Jenkins proposed a motion to change the Constitution.

The aim of the change was to bring it in line with a modern Association Model and accurately reflect the current administration of the Parramatta Junior League.

According to a report on parraeels.com.au, the motion was put to a vote after the General Committee Members had the opportunity to ask questions and receive answers from the President and the General Manager.

In order for the motion to pass, it required a three-fifth majority, which equates to 60% of the vote.

Fortunately for the President and the General Committee, the motion was successful, garnering a 71% affirmative vote.

This means that the proposed changes to the PJRL Constitution were officially adopted.
