Manly Warringah Sea Eagles proudly congratulates the Honourable Geoff Bellew AM SC for his recognition in the 2026 Australia Day Honours List.
Mr. Bellew, who was the Chairman of the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles from 2002 to 2003 and previously chaired the Northern Eagles, is among 160 Australians honored as a Member of the Order of Australia (AM). This award is given for significant contributions to the judiciary, legal profession, and Rugby League.
With an extensive and distinguished career in the sport, Mr. Bellew currently serves as the Judiciary Chair for NRL and NRLW Premierships, as well as State of Origin and the Pacific Championships since 2015. In 2024, he also became the Chair of the International Rugby League (IRL) Judiciary Committee.
Additionally, Mr. Bellew held the position of Justice of The Supreme Court of NSW from 2012 to 2023 and has been part of the NRL Board previously.
