Kezie Apps captained Wests Tigers to their first NRLW finals appearance in 2026, a season that also brought her 50th game in the competition.
The second-rower's campaign ended with another honour: she was named NRLW Captain of the Year at Wednesday night's Dally M Awards.
Apps joined the club in Concord in 2022 and has become a key leader in its NRLW program.
"I'm just super grateful that I've got a great leadership group in Sala (Togatuki), Raecene (McGregor), Holli (Wheeler) and even Shaylee Bent,'' Apps said in accepting her award.
"I've just got a great group around me and I think they have really helped drive the standards this year."
She also praised coach Craig Sandercock, who was nominated for NRLW Coach of the Year.
"He was fantastic for us. He has got a really great balance. He has got a school teaching background and knows how to get the best out of us,'' Apps said.
"He really did that for us this year. We are super grateful of him and the rest of the coaching staff."
