Sharks forward Jesse Colquhoun will be sidelined for Saturday's local derby against the Dragons after accepting a one-match ban for Grade 2 dangerous contact stemming from last week's victory over the Cowboys.
He was penalized for a tackle on North Queensland centre Robert Derby during the 49th minute of the 32-12 win at Sharks Stadium. Colquhoun chose to take the early guilty plea to avoid a potential two-game suspension if he contested the charge and lost.
A veteran of 12 NRL games in 2025, Colquhoun will return to action for the Round 24 match against the Titans at home after serving his suspension.
