Sydney Roosters forward Lindsay Collins has been awarded the prestigious 2023 Jack Gibson Medal, capping off an outstanding season for the Australian Kangaroos representative.

Collins showcased exceptional leadership qualities and performed exceptionally in crucial moments throughout the season.

His determination to excel in every aspect of the game has been acknowledged by his teammates and Coach Trent Robinson.

This is the first time Collins has won the esteemed award, highlighting his significant contributions to the team.

Throughout the season, Collins played in almost every game, scoring three tries, completing 802 tackles, and averaging 112 hard-earned run meters per match.

The Sydney Roosters Members also recognized Collins' outstanding efforts by voting him as the 2023 Red Rooster Members Player of the Year.

Other notable players, including James Tedesco, Nat Butcher, Luke Keary, and Billy Smith, also received high numbers of votes for their performances.

Additionally, young half Sam Walker was awarded the Steggles Try of the Year for his remarkable solo try against the Wests Tigers in Round 26.
