Coca-Cola backs PNG Chiefs' NRL build

Broncos announce historic trial match in PNG

Coca-Cola Europacific Partners PNG has signed a multi-year premier partnership with the PNG Chiefs, whose NRL debut is set for 2028.

Coca-Cola branding will appear on the playing sleeves, and its products will support match-day hospitality, media and community platforms from 2028.

The company has a long-standing grassroots role and backs PNG rugby league pathways through the Ipatas Cup and PNG Hunters.

Chiefs CEO Lorna McPherson said the agreement aligned with both organisations' ambitions and offered a way to connect with communities nationwide.

CCEP PNG director Tim Solly said the deal builds on the company's support of pathways.

He said: "As one of the country's most recognised and trusted brands, we are proud to partner with the PNG Chiefs as they build toward their historic entry into the NRL competition."
