Melbourne Storm's representative winger, Xavier Coates, is set to make a comeback from an ankle injury in Sunday's NRL round-one clash against Parramatta.
Despite the possibility of Coates returning in the final pre-season trial, the decision was made to give him more time to fully recover.
Coates' teammate, Will Warbrick, praised his recovery, stating that he could have played in the previous trial but the extra time allowed for better recovery.
Warbrick expressed confidence in Coates' readiness, saying, "Xavier's looking great...
He's been training really well and he's obviously done everything that he needs to do in terms of his rehab and looking after his body, and he looks fit and ready to go." With Coates expected to be back in action, Storm fans can look forward to his contribution in the upcoming game against Parramatta.
