Coach storming with frustration after tough loss

Bunker ACTUALLY comes in clutch for the Storm

Brisbane Broncos coach Kevin Walters was not his typical chatty self in the post-match presser after a gut-wrenching 34-32 defeat to the Storm.

The Broncos, desperate to break a seven-game losing streak, put up a good fight in Melbourne and held the lead for a staggering 75 minutes before falling just short in a nail-biting try-fest.

Walters didn't mince words, blaming his team's soft defence for the loss.

However, the coach was less than impressed with a question posed by Fox League's Lara Pitt.

"Kevvie it was a really entertaining game for fans to watch," she began before Walters abruptly cut her off with a sharp retort.

"I'm pleased you liked it, Lara," he said with a hint of sarcasm.

In true sporting fashion, Walters kept it short and sweet, refusing to dwell on the tough loss.

The Broncos may have come up short this time, but they'll be looking to regroup and come back stronger in their next match.
