Warriors assistant coach Richard Agar has been suspended for three matches and fined $10,000 for allegedly grabbing a journalist by the throat at the NRL's event in Las Vegas.

The incident occurred at Allegiant Stadium on March 2, leading to the NRL issuing Agar with a breach notice.

Half of his fine will be suspended pending any further offenses, and he will miss matches against the Sydney Roosters, Wests Tigers, and Melbourne.

Agar will also be required to undergo "appropriate education and training" and has five days to respond to the breach notice.
