Wests Tigers head coach Benji Marshall has finally spoken out regarding the Adam Doueihi situation, indicating that they believe their relationship can be mended as they work to "find a resolution."
The recent 'Doueihi Saga' has taken over the news, primarily because the talented playmaker has opted out of this week's game after being informed of a position change from the halves to lock.
This choice followed Marshall's decision to introduce a new halves combination featuring Jarome Luai and Javon Andrews, with the latter set to make his NRL debut.
After the team's 56-10 defeat against the Canberra Raiders on Saturday, Marshall acknowledged that the entire situation had been "unexpected," but empathized with Doueihi's feelings that influenced his choice.
"We have to find a resolution," Marshall stated in his post-match comments.
