New Zealand Warriors stars Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad and Addin Fonua-Blake have been nominated for rugby league's prestigious international player award, the Golden Boot.
Nicoll-Klokstad, who had an outstanding NRL season, was exceptional for the New Zealand Kiwis in the Pacific Championships, delivering a man of the match display in the Kiwis' record 30-0 victory over the Kangaroos in the final.
Front rower Fonua-Blake, named in the Dally M Team of the Year, led Mate Ma'a Tonga in their historic Test series in England.
Other members of the Kiwis' triumphant squad, including captain James Fisher-Harris, halfback Jahrome Hughes, winger Ronaldo Mulitalo, and middle forward Joey Tapine, are also among the nominees.
The Kiwi Ferns are also well-represented in the nominations for the women's Golden Boot, following their 12-6 win over the Jillaroos in Melbourne, with former Warriors NRLW players Georgia Hale and Apii Nicholls, along with Mele Hufanga and Raecene McGregor, all receiving nominations.
