In a week filled with the intensity of finals footy, only six teams remain in the hunt for the prestigious 2024 NRL Premiership glory, with the Newcastle Knights and Canterbury Bulldogs already bowing out of contention.

Now, as the Penrith Panthers and Melbourne Storm enjoy a well-deserved break, fans are eagerly awaiting the return of two key players who are pushing to overcome their injuries in time for the upcoming clashes.

After sitting out the previous game against the Storm, Sharks' dynamic centre Jesse Ramien is gearing up to hit the field once again after nursing an ankle injury.

His presence is sure to inject some much-needed firepower into the team, with the versatile Siosifa Talakai poised to shift to the interchange bench and bring his explosive energy to the game when called upon.

"Depending on how he heals, I reckon he's got a good shot at being back out there," remarked Sharks' head honcho Craig Fitzgibbon in a post-match interview last Saturday.

Fans are certainly hoping for a speedy recovery as the Sharks gear up for another high-stakes showdown on the field.
