Cleary Wins Judiciary Challenge, Eligible for Round 1

Cleary successful at judiciary

Panthers co-captain Nathan Cleary has successfully contested his NRL judiciary charge.

He faced a grade two careless high tackle charge for his collision with Heamasi Makasini during a trial match against the Wests Tigers.

After appealing the charge, the judiciary reduced it to a grade one offense, resulting in just a fine.

As a result, Cleary is cleared to participate in the Panthers' Round 1 game against the Brisbane Broncos at Suncorp Stadium.
