The Rugby League world is buzzing with excitement over the relationship between Nathan Cleary and Mary Fowler.

Fans are eagerly following their every move, but it seems they are not quite sold on the couple's nickname.

Move over 'Brangelina' and 'Bennifer', 'Nath-ilda' is the latest attempt at a couple moniker, and it's not going down well.

Cleary and Fowler were recently reunited in Sydney after months apart, and their airport reunion melted hearts.

Since then, they have been spotted together on numerous occasions, with Fowler even staying with Cleary for Christmas.

However, the more the nickname 'Nath-ilda' is used, the more backlash it receives on social media.

Rugby League fans are not impressed and are making their opinions known.
