Gold Coast dynamo Erin Clark has managed to dodge a bullet and will not miss any game time for the Titans, despite facing charges from the match review committee following their gritty 21-14 victory over the Dolphins on Sunday arvo.
In a heart-stopping moment in the 42nd minute, Clark found himself in hot water after being placed on report for a Grade 1 Dangerous Contact on none other than tough-as-nails forward Mark Nicholls.
This incident marks Clark's first brush with the law on the field.
Opting for the early guilty plea, Clark will only have to cough up a measly $750 fine.
However, should he choose to take the fight to the judiciary and be deemed guilty, the price will rise to $1,000.
At present, Clark has remained tight-lipped about his decision regarding a plea.
Will he take the easy way out or show the fighting spirit that Rugby League fans love so much? Only time will tell.
