'Holding my tongue back': Ciraldo wants 'clarity' after tough calls sting Dogs

Bulldogs coach Cameron Ciraldo was left feeling like he was "biting my tongue" as he expressed frustration over what he saw as a series of unfair calls against his team.

Ciraldo, known for his usually calm demeanor, couldn't hide his disbelief at the contentious decisions made during Friday night's 25-6 loss to Cronulla at Shark Park.

Referee Ziggy Przeklasa-Adamski came under fire for his involvement in a controversial Canterbury no-try, where he obstructed Braydon Trindall from reaching Viliame Kikau.

The Bulldogs, known for their strong defense, stood their ground against the Sharks and refused to be bullied as they were in the previous year's matchup in the Shire.

Despite the Sharks ultimately pulling away with three second-half tries, Ciraldo believes the outcome could have been different if the 50-50 and even "80-20" calls had gone their way.

"I felt like we were on the wrong end of a lot of calls," Ciraldo expressed passionately.

Looking to seek clarification, Ciraldo plans to reach out to NRL referees boss Jared Maxwell in the coming days to address the contentious decisions that marred the game.
