In her State of Origin debut, Abbi Church, the New South Wales fullback, played exceptionally well, helping her team secure a 32-12 victory against Queensland at Lang Park.

Despite being considered a surprising choice over Emma Verran, Church distinguished herself as one of the best in the match.

As she prepares for her second game, Church acknowledges the intensity and nerves she felt during her debut.

"Game I was a bit cloudy, there was so many nerves and excitement because it was my debut," she noted.

Looking ahead to Game II, she feels prepared to perform even better.

"I can be a bit more locked in," she stated, emphasizing her belief that "there's always room for improvement." The New South Wales team aims to clinch the series at the Sydney Football Stadium, and Church is eager to contribute further.
