Wigan Warriors have signed former England winger Christian Wade on a short-term deal following his switch from rugby union to join them for the remainder of the season.

Wade, who previously played for Wasps and scored 82 tries during his seven-year career, took a break from rugby in 2018 to pursue a career in the NFL with the Buffalo Bills.

After returning to rugby and playing for Racing 92 in France, Wade joined Gloucester for the 2024/2025 season before making the move to Wigan.
