Another NRL team has decided not to pursue Daly Cherry-Evans after he informed the Manly Sea Eagles of his departure at the end of the season.
Despite being 36, Cherry-Evans is still considered an elite playmaker and is a key player for the QLD Maroons in State of Origin.
While there are young players like Onitoni Large and Joey Walsh waiting in the wings at Manly, Cherry-Evans' future is uncertain, but it is likely he will continue playing beyond this season, just not with the Sea Eagles.
Cherry-Evans has not publicly commented on his departure from Manly, but another club has confirmed their interest in signing him.
