Charged Titans and Dragons show match has bite

In a classic showdown on Saturday, the NRL's Match Review Committee has pulled out the yellow card against four players from Round 19's action, with three of them feeling the sting for dangerous contact.

Gold Coast's AJ Brimson and Chris Randall have found themselves in hot water for their actions in the Titans' gritty win over Parramatta.

Brimson, a born-and-bred Queenslander, is facing a grade 1 charge for his first offence, with the potential for a $750-$1000 fine depending on how he plays his hand.

Meanwhile, Randall, the Titans' hooker, is looking at a fine between $1800-$2500 for his second offence.

Not to be outdone, Brisbane's Brendan Piakura is also on the MRC's hit list for his dangerous contact charge during the Broncos' clash with the Dragons.

Like his counterparts, Piakura is staring down the barrel of a hefty fine for his actions on the field.

In the game of Rugby League, as in life, actions have consequences, and these players are now facing the music for their on-field antics.

Let's see how they play their next move in this high-stakes game.
