Chan suspended for tackle charge

Melbourne Storm bruiser Joe Chan has found himself in hot water after a rough tackle landed him in the sin bin during the team's recent clash with the Roosters.

The big fella didn't waste any time in accepting his Grade 2 Careless High Tackle charge, knowing full well the consequences of a prolonged battle with the judiciary.
In true warrior fashion, Chan faced the music and entered an early plea, making sure to avoid a potential three-game ban looming overhead.

With this hiccup now behind him, Chan will be back in action for the Storm's showdown with the Rabbitohs in Round 23.
But that wasn't the end of the rough stuff for the man Chan.

He also copped a Grade 1 Dangerous Contact charge for a hit on Dominic Young shortly after the first incident.

With an $1800 fine hanging over his head, Chan wasn't about to let this setback bring him down.
Stay tuned as we keep a close eye on Chan's journey back onto the field, ready to unleash his relentless energy and fighting spirit once again.

Stay strong, Joe - we can't wait to see you back in the thick of the action.
