Calling on all Roosters fans and rugby league enthusiasts, it's time to show your support and have your say on the 2025 Indigenous Jersey design.

We are paying tribute to the Indigenous champions of the past, who have played a vital role in shaping the club's history and success.

One of these legends is Shannon Hegarty, a dynamic player who made a significant impact out wide for the Roosters.

He was instrumental in leading the team to a turnaround in fortunes at the turn of the century, with his powerful and reliable performances on the field.

Hegarty's NRL career with the Red, White and Blue saw him feature in 109 matches, showcasing his talent on the wing and in the centres.

He left a lasting impression by scoring memorable tries, including the opener in the 2002 Grand Final.

His outstanding form at club level also earned him representative honours, representing both Queensland and Australia with distinction.

Not to mention his contribution to the 2003 World Club Challenge side that achieved a resounding victory over St Helens.

A true Roosters stalwart, Hegarty is among the exclusive group of players who featured in multiple Grand Finals, including the memorable 2000, 2002, 2003, and 2004 appearances.

His ability to score crucial tries on the big stage solidified his place in Roosters history.

Now, as we look ahead to the future, let's remember and honor the legacy of Indigenous champions like Shannon Hegarty as we design the 2025 Indigenous Jersey.

Make sure to have your say and be a part of this special tribute to the heroes of the past.
