Bryce Cartwright has officially departed the Parramatta Eels, effective immediately.
The announcement comes as the forward has struggled to gain favor with head coach Jason Ryles, failing to make a first-grade appearance this season despite playing 44 games for the Eels over the last two years.
Cartwright, a significant member of the team since 2021, will now join the St Marys Saints in the Ron Massey Cup, where he plans to conclude his playing career.
In a statement regarding his departure, Cartwright expressed gratitude: "I'm really thankful to the Eels for the opportunity to be part of this club, it always felt like a home away from home.
I'm leaving with positive memories, lifelong mates and gratitude for everyone's support, especially the passionate fans who have always shown me love."
