Kurt Capewell is set to make his return in the centres for the NZ Warriors in their round 20 NRL clash against the Knights at McDonald Jones Stadium on Sunday.
Following his State of Origin performances, Capewell missed previous matches against Penrith and Wests Tigers.
With centre Rocco Berry out for five to six weeks due to a shoulder injury, Capewell steps in, having played in the centres four times this season, including three of his last six games.
This adjustment is the only change from the Warriors' recent 34-14 victory over the Wests Tigers, which came after consecutive losses to the Panthers and Broncos.
The team is currently plagued with injuries, notably co-captain Mitchell Barnett and halfback Luke Metcalf, both of whom are out for the season with knee injuries.
Additionally, fullback Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad is sidelined until round 21 with a knee complaint.
In the recent match, Boyd made an impressive club debut as Warrior #293, showcasing his skills in the halfback position (#7).
He excelled with his kicking game, successfully converting five out of six attempts and contributing to five of the six tries scored.
Boyd recorded 14 kicks totaling over 400 metres and made 20 tackles, demonstrating his defensive abilities as the Tigers targeted him frequently.
The match against the Knights is scheduled for a 4.05 PM (local) kick-off, with fans eager to see how the Warriors will perform under these challenging circumstances.
