The Wests Tigers maintained their position at the top of the NRLW table with a convincing 10-0 victory over the Cronulla Sharks at Belmore Sports Ground on Sunday.
Despite scoring seven tries in their previous match against the Eels, the joint venture club only needed two tries this week to secure their second consecutive win.
The Tigers' defensive efforts and ability to create second-phase play made it a challenging afternoon for the Sharks defenders, who struggled to keep up.
By halftime, the Tigers had already dominated the off-loads, leading 7-2, and finished the match with a total of 14.
Although errors were not a major issue for the Sharks, their overall performance appeared disjointed.
The absence of star fullback Jada Taylor, who suffered an ankle injury during the week, was evident as the team missed her dynamic running around the ruck.
Furthermore, the loss of five-eighth Emma Tonegato in the 46th minute due to a right calf issue further weakened the Sharks' attacking capabilities.
