The Sharks had a rollercoaster ride in their NRLW season last week, suffering a last-minute defeat.

After a thrilling victory in their Round 1 debut, they were blanked by the Wests Tigers in Round 2.

However, in their clash against the Gold Coast, the Sharks led for almost the entire game until the final minute and a half, resulting in a heartbreaking 10-8 loss.

The Sharks were superior in most key stat categories and completed all but seven of their 38 sets.

The only area they struggled in was goalkicking, with Taylor Preston missing both conversion attempts.

On the other hand, the Roosters returned to winning ways in Round 3 with a commanding 30-0 victory over the Dragons.

They broke 65 tackles and made 10 line breaks, displaying dominance with the ball in hand.

This impressive performance followed a shocking loss to the Raiders in the previous week.

With a 2-1 record, the Roosters now sit in third position heading into Round 4.
