Broncos captain Adam Reynolds is set to enter contract extension talks with the Brisbane Broncos in the next two weeks, amid salary cap pressures and a roster reshuffle.
Coach Michael Maguire emphasized that Reynolds remains crucial to the club's future plans.
The 34-year-old halfback had previously indicated he would retire after the 2025 season to transition into coaching but has now expressed a desire to continue playing into 2026.
His manager, Steve Gillis, stated that formal negotiations will commence in early May, saying, "Reyno has indicated that his preference is to play on.
The Broncos have been great to him, so I will talk to them in the next two or three weeks about the next step."
