In an impressive display of skill and determination, Blacktown Workers continued their charge towards the NSW Cup finals with a resounding 36-20 victory over the St George-Illawarra Dragons on Saturday.

The Sea Eagles showcased their attacking prowess, crossing the try line a total of seven times, with full-back Jake Toby and winger Ryan Garner both securing a double each.

Cooper Johns, the team's reliable goal kicker, successfully converted four out of seven attempts.

Currently sitting in sixth place on the ladder, Blacktown Workers are tied on 26 points with the fifth-placed Penrith Panthers, with a mere 11 points separating the two teams in terms of their points differential.

Looking ahead, Blacktown Workers face tough opponents in their remaining matches, including the Sydney Roosters, Penrith, Warriors, and the Bulldogs.

The team's winger, Raymond Tuaimalo Vaega, made an impressive start to the match, scoring the opening try in the fourth minute with the help of some slick hands in a well-executed backline play.

The partnership between half Jakob Arthur and five-eighth Cooper Johns proved fruitful, as they combined to produce a perfectly timed and accurate long, floating cut out pass, resulting in winger Ryan Garner crossing the try line in the 13th minute to extend Blacktown Workers' lead to 12-0.
