Injury Report: Campbell Sidelined for Super Hero Sunday
Jayden Campbell will miss the Titans' Super Hero Sunday match against the Cowboys due to a head injury sustained in the previous week's game against Parramatta.
He came off the field in the 27th minute and was assessed with a Category 1 concussion, which mandates an 11-day stand-down under NRL return-to-play protocols.
Campbell is expected to return in Round 19 against the Broncos.
Additionally, David Fifita will take an extra week off to recover from ankle surgery, benefiting from the upcoming bye.
After further treatment from the club's medical staff last Friday, he will not play this weekend but is anticipated to be fit for a match against his former club.
On a positive note, Jaylan De Groot has recovered from a hamstring strain and is available for selection.
Keano Kini and Carter Gordon are also making good progress in their recovery from long-term injuries, with Kini looking to return as early as next month, while Gordon is on track to get back on the field this season.
