Campbell is focused on expanding the women's game in Rugby League beyond just the on-field action.
According to nrl.com.au, the sport is witnessing significant growth, with over 32,000 female participants registered across NSWRL competitions in 2025, accounting for 27 percent of total participants.
Recognizing the need for diverse roles within the sport, Campbell emphasizes the importance of having coaches, officials, trainers, and volunteers, irrespective of gender.
She has served on the NSWRL Board for two years and was appointed Chair in February.
Alongside her is Tarsha Gale, a pioneering figure in women's Rugby League, known as a former Jillaroo and the first captain of the NSW Women's team in 1999.
Gale also holds the distinction of being the first female player on the NSWRL Board.
