The potential departure of Cameron Munster from the Melbourne Storm could significantly impact the Brisbane Broncos, especially concerning the future of Ezra Mam.
As Munster prepares to explore his options on the open market starting November 1, he is expected to attract substantial interest from numerous clubs.
Despite having a contract that runs through 2027, he is now at the center of speculation involving teams such as the Perth Bears, PNG Chiefs, and Brisbane Broncos, all of which could make a play for the veteran player.
NRL 360 reporter Brent Read confirmed the situation, stating, "He's going to November 1 and going to see what's out there."
Read added that the Storm is "still hopeful and confident they can keep him and convince him to stay," but acknowledged the challenges ahead.
"(When) he hits November 1, he will get some significant interest from around the NRL," Read noted. "They've got a fight on their hands, the Storm."
