In a turn of events that had Storm fans on the edge of their seats, Cameron Munster's recent struggles seem to be a thing of the past as he gears up for a return to the field.
The star playmaker, who was sidelined due to a nagging hip imbalance and adductor tendon tear, has been putting in the hard yards at training and is aiming to make a triumphant comeback possibly by round 21.
Despite his absence, Melbourne Storm has continued their winning ways, maintaining their top spot on the NRL ladder with only one loss in the six games Munster has missed.
The team is gearing up for a showdown with the Sydney Roosters this weekend, but unfortunately, Munster will not be taking the field just yet.
However, Munster's determination and resilience are unmatched as he pushes himself to the limit in training, eager to get back in the action.
"Slowly but surely.
It's been an up and down, frustrating injury for myself," Munster shared, reflecting on his journey back to full fitness.
With post-season surgery on the horizon, Munster is focused on regaining full health and making a successful return to the game he loves.
As he awaits clearance from the medical staff, the Storm faithful can only hold their breath in anticipation of seeing their star player back in the mix in the coming weeks.
