'Oh crikey, we're heading down that path?': Burton hilariously grilled by Fletch and Hindy over 'flat Earth' claims
In a rib-tickling segment on The Late Show with Matty Johns, Fletch and Hindy put Bulldogs prodigy Matt Burton on the spot about his controversial "flat Earther" remarks, prompting the talented five-eighth to justify his beliefs.
During a chat on the Let's Trot podcast in January with Josh Mansour, Burton dropped a bombshell by stating, "like, it's round.
But it's obviously flat because, if it was … I don't know."
After quizzing halfback Toby Sexton on the nuances between Belmore and Burleigh Heads post his move from the Titans, Bryan Fletcher shifted his focus to Burton.
"It's incredible how level the playing field is between Belmore and Dubbo," Fletcher quipped.
"Aw, bloody hell, are we venturing into this territory," Burton responded.
