The Sydney Roosters have announced that Shawden Burton has extended her NRLW contract with the Club, ensuring her place in the Tricolours until at least the end of 2027.

Burton began her journey with the Central Coast Roosters, making her NRLW debut in the first round of the delayed 2021 competition, which took place in 2022. At 26 years old, she has become known as a dependable and energetic dummy half, recognized for her quick service and strong work ethic throughout the game.

Roosters NRLW Head Coach John Strange commented that Burton's contract extension was a reflection of her consistent performance and dedication to the team.

Burton expressed her pride in continuing her journey with the Club.
